It’s fair to say that Spring has indeed sprung. At last! Continuing our transformations theme, this week we’re talking specifically about bathroom transformations.

Our bathrooms, en-suites, shower rooms, wet rooms – whatever flavours you have – are used several times per day in most households. As a result, it isn’t surprising that they can soon show significant signs of wear and tear.

Have you been meaning to do something about your tired bathroom? Or have you got to point where you know you should do something, but you’ve tuned it out and you’ll address it when something breaks? We’re all busy and it’s easier to take the path of least resistance!

Yet, bearing in mind we all use the bathroom, and for most of us that means a shower, once or more times each day, wouldn’t it be lovely to look forward to being in there? Rather than making an effort to avoid looking too closely at various areas?

We don’t know about you, but we think there’s nothing better than standing under a rainfall shower, letting the warm water ease us into the day, or to take away the stresses of the day. A lovely shower, in a room designed around your preferred features, makes for a nice start or end to any day. Made all the better by being able to stand in a double shower, rather than something akin to a telephone box!

Underfloor heating, contrasting tiling, customised lighting, and the right amount of storage in all the right places, and we think you can’t go too far wrong.

We know that potential buyers put lots of emphasis on whether a property has up to date (or state of the art) kitchen and bathrooms but making changes to sell is one thing. We think that it makes more sense to upgrade the home you’re intending to live in.

Why make do, when such relatively simple changes make such a big difference?

Life is for living, and every day starts in the bathroom. Let’s make the most of it!
